- Demographics 54% Asian, 28% White, 8% Black, 8% Hispanic, 2% Two or more races
- Hybrid learning environment, with most students learning remotely via Zoom
What Shaped My Teaching

- Two cooperating teachers
- Two different content areas (Calculus + Computer Science)
- Rotating A/B Day schedule, 60 minute periods
- Large class sizes (30-31 in a calculus section)
- Types of courses taught (dual enrollment & elective)
College Calculus

- Dual enrollment calculus course with Middlesex College, Edison, NJ
- Two sections with 30-31 juniors & seniors
- Hybrid setting with 2-3 in-person students, 28 remote students
- Units taught: Integration, Differential Equations, Applications of Integration
- Technology used: Google Classroom (LMS), Google Jamboard, Desmos Activities, Kahoot!, Quizizz, Flipgrid, and more.
Computer Science in the 21st Century

- An introductory Java programming course
- One section of 23 students, all but 1 in ninth grade
- Co-teaching, primarily virtual instruction on Zoom
- Topics taught: Parallel Arrays, 2-D Arrays, Sorting Algorithms (Insertion & Selection), Search Algorithms (Linear & Binary), String Methods
- Technology used: Google Classroom (LMS), Replit.com (IDE)
AP Computer Science A

- Observed and assisted two sections of AP Computer Science A with 21-22 students in grades 10-11
- Taught an interactive lesson on Boolean Operators & De Morgan's Laws using Pear Deck for Google Slides
