- Demographics 71% Asian, 18% White, 5% Black, 5% Hispanic, 2% Two or more races
- 85 minute periods with rotating A/B Day schedule
Grade 6 Pre-Algebra Honors & Accelerated
- Two sections with 18 sixth graders in each
- Completely remote instruction on Zoom
- Taught 12-day unit on Exponents & Scientific Notation
- Math Workshop Model of teaching (Numbers sense routines, Student choice activities, Reflections) with emphasis on differentiation & collaboration
- Technology used: Google Classroom (LMS), Google Jamboard, Pear Deck, Desmos Activities, Edulastic, and more.
